Accessibility

Our museum destinations are old buildings without elevators. The rooms are not accessible, have thresholds, staircases and narrow doorways.

On the first floor of the Roos House there is a museum shop, a space for chaning exhibitions and a toilet (not accessible). The first floor is accessible by wheelchair, stroller and walker via a ramp. The entrance to the ramp can be reached through the courtyard, on the house gable at Isokatu. Ring the doorbell and the door will open.

Our museum welcomes guide and assistance dogs.

Parking

The Roos House and the Museum Quarter are located in the city centre in Kokkola. The museums are located about a five minute walk from both the train station and the bus station (500 m). The museums don’t have their own car park. There are many time-limited parking spaces close to the museum, e.g. in the streets and the parking garges.
