Snellman Hall

The Hall is divided into three sections, seen from the stage, with flat floor (section A, B and C). Sections A and B have 19 rows and section C has 16 rows. There are wide aisles between each row. The stall seats at the back (rows 21-24) slope upwards slightly from the front to the back (30 cm/row). The entrance is at the back of the Hall.

Sound and light controls (i.e. the mixing console) are usually positioned at row 20 behind the seating section in the middle.

Accessible seats and accessibility

  • The Hall has a total of 6 accessible seats: 5 next to the mixing console (row 20) and if necessary, 1 next to the entrance (row 17). The seats are intended for wheelchair users and people who need other aids. Companion seats are behind the accessible seats.
  • There are 5 steps at the entrance to the Hall that are equipped with a lift.

Fordell Hall

  • The Fordell Hall is accessible. The Hall has a total of 5 accessible seats: 3 seats on row 9 to the right seen from the stage and 2 seats on row 10 on the left side seen from the stage.  The seats are intended for wheelchair users and people who need other aids. Companion seats are beside the accessible seats.
  • The entrance to the Fordell Hall from the foyer is accessible.
