The Music Center Snellman opens one hour (1 h) prior to the event.
Other times as agreed.

Dolce is a modern café-restaurant in Music Center Snellman. It has a seating capacity of 156 persons and a small stage. It is also possible to organize events, meetings and small concerts in the café restaurant. Sound reproduction and stage lighting can be easily arranged.
Intermission refreshments can be ordered directly here.
Compass Group Finland Oy is responsible for the café and restaurant activities.

A staffed cloakroom service is offered during all our events. The service fee (3 €) can be paid in cash or with a card. The service is free of charge for children under the age of 12.
Please note that you will not be able to bring coats or other bulky items to the concert halls. It is forbidden to use studded shoes in the halls.

The Music Center Snellman has two separate toilets and two accessible toilets with access from the foyer.
In Music Center Snellman baby changing facilities are found in the accessible toilets. They are designed to accommodate an adult and a child as well as a stroller. Strollers are not allowed into the event space.

Accessibility has been considered in the Music Center Snellman. The smaller Fordell Hall is accessible via the foyer and the larger Snellman Hall is accessible with a lift. The café, foyer and toilets are all accessible.
There is a separate lift to the administrative offices of Ostrobothnian Chamber Orchestra.

Concert and event etiquette
- Make sure you have ample of time when you arrive at and leave the venue to avoid traffic congestion.
- Avoid making noise. Let the performer perform and the audience enjoy the performance without disturbances.
- Respect other people’s physical and mental conditions.
- If you arrive late, wait until the end of the piece and take your seat during the applause.
Our health and safety recommendations
- Practice good hand and cough hygiene. The Music Center has several hand sanitizer and hand washing stations.
- When possible, pay for your purchases with a credit card.
- Use a mask if you want to.
- Please do not attend a concert if you are feeling under the weather.
We do our best to ensure the safety and equality of customers, performers and staff. We follow the general guidelines on hygiene and safety issued by authorities. In addition, we have our own health and safety plan in case of epidemics. Our venue is cleaned and surfaces wiped after each event.
Camera surveillance
We have camera surveillance both inside and outside.

You can inquire about lost items from the Music Center Service Manager or the venue caretaker by phone (040 8050 821) Monday to Friday from 10 am to 4 pm.

Music Center Snellman is located at Vingenkatu 18, 67100 Kokkola.

The Music Center Snellman has bicycle parking and a car park for about a hundred cars, of which 6 spaces are for electric cars.
On-street parking on nearby roads for the duration of the event at no cost.

Taxis can drop-off customers near the main entrance at the end of Vingenkatu.
We recommend that you order a taxi in advance for your return journey.
