The city produces and maintains its own map guide service at https://kartta.kokkola.fi/IMS. The service is available in both internet map and mobile versions.
The city is not responsible for the contents, deficiencies or errors of other actors’ map services. You can report any errors, deficiencies or changes that you notice in the city’s map guide using the city’s feedback system.
Navigators
Updating the navigator map material is not the city’s responsibility; it is the responsibility of the service provider and the owner of the navigator. The owner of the navigator usually has to update the map material on their own device.
The address data in such devices may be up to several years old. Information on devices is updated in a variety of ways. The data in the navigators may include Digiroad data maintained by the National Land Survey of Finland, but the operators may also collect data themselves. Map updates can be available up to four times a year, depending on your device.
